New vanity, tap, mirror, lighting, toilet and hardware, with the tile regrouted and the surround recaulked. Where the layout stays put and nothing moves in the walls, this is a straightforward few days rather than a project. If you want fixtures relocated, that becomes a licensed plumbing job and we will say so up front.
Kitchen cabinet repair and refacing
Doors rehung and realigned, soft-close hinges and new drawer runners fitted, and cabinet boxes kept while doors and fronts are replaced or painted. On solid carcasses this gets you a new-looking kitchen for a small share of what replacement costs, and it is by far the most common request we get.
Countertop and backsplash installation
Drop-in laminate and butcher block tops cut and fitted with the sink and tap set, plus tile, subway and peel-and-stick backsplashes. We scribe to the wall so there is no gap behind the counter, which is where every out-of-square kitchen catches people out.
Shower door installation
Framed and semi-frameless doors and sliders fitted plumb to walls that are rarely plumb themselves, then sealed on the correct side so water runs back into the tray. A door sealed on the wrong face is the single most common reason a new shower leaks onto the bathroom floor.
